Ninjas Tree Capitator

Ninjas Tree Capitator makes chopping trees configurable so you can choose how it fits your world. Use an axe on a trunk to break connected logs, then adjust the rules for activation, tool wear, leaves, replanting, and dropped items.

Tree chopping settings

• Choose whether the feature activates while sneaking or whenever you chop a tree.
• Set axe durability use per log block or per tree.
• Choose whether connected leaves break along with the tree or stay in place.
• Works with oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, cherry, mangrove, pale oak, poplar, crimson, and warped trees.
• Tree and leaf drops follow Minecraft’s normal drops; the add-on does not multiply them.

Replanting and drops

• Enable replanting for single trees and eligible 2×2 trees.
• In Survival, saplings come from your inventory. Replanting is skipped if you do not have enough or the planting spot is unsuitable.
• Turn Auto Magnet on to pull nearby item drops toward you.
• Use the menu to clear floating drops within 20 blocks after confirming the action.
• Turn notifications on or off to match how much feedback you want.

Menu item

You receive the Ninjas Tree Capitator menu item once when you join. It stays with you after death. If you need another, combine one iron axe and one oak plank at a crafting table in any arrangement; the recipe is shapeless.

Install and use

1. Download the .mcaddon file and open it with Minecraft Bedrock to import both packs.
2. In your world settings, activate Ninjas Tree Capitator BP under Behavior Packs and Ninjas Tree Capitator RP under Resource Packs.
3. Join the world and use the menu item to choose your settings.
4. Hold an axe and break a tree trunk. Sneak while chopping if the activation setting is set to sneaking.

Compatibility

Requires Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.30 or newer. The add-on is designed to work without disabling achievements.
